Jake Howlett joined Viviano Law in early 2011, bringing with him a wealth of experience both as an attorney and business executive.
Specializing in commercial litigation and real estate law, Jake has been an attorney at a top law firm and a major business client–formerly serving as President of Michigan-based Crown Enterprises, Inc. Crown is a large, nationally recognized commercial real estate company with a diverse portfolio of property in virtually every state and in Canada. In addition to running the business at Crown, Jake also personally managed significant legal issues, from large transactions to complex litigation, giving him a unique perspective on client needs.
Before leading Crown, Jake had a successful legal practice at Bodman LLP where he worked on a variety of complex litigation matters for many of the firm’s best clients.
Jake is a graduate of Duke University in Durham, N.C. and received his Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, where he served as an associate editor for the Washington University Journal of Law and Policy.
